Here's a quick look from my shoot tonight!  It was so good catching up with friends I haven't seen in 12 years!  What an adorable little family of three that is soon to be a family of four!

Diedrich [Senior Photos]

I've known Mitchell since he was about eight years old. It felt a little strange to be taking his Senior Pictures. But I have been photographing him and his siblings since before I knew photography was what I wanted to do with my life.

I am so proud of him. He's become his own person, is excelling in sports and in his laid back way exudes a confidence he didn't have when he was just a kid. I can't believe another Diedrich kid will be finishing up high school. Makes me feel REALLY old. Enjoy the photos! It was such a fun shoot!

[Gerner Family]

Sometimes you meet people who you instantly connect with.  Lynette is one of those people.  I met her almost a year ago when she came down on a mission's trip with G.O. Ministries.  She was such a hard worker and you could just tell she had a heart for children.

It was such an honor when she asked if I could take their family pictures. Their two older girls weren't able to make it but we had a great time! It was such a blessing to get to see their town, eat at one of their favorite restaurants and get to know them more. Mike and Lynette have such an inspiring testimony and you can't help but praise God for both of their stories.

 

[Divers Family]

I met Melissa about 7 years ago when Emmanuel Wesleyan threw me a bridal shower. Little did I know I would form such great friendships with the women that attended that shower.

Fast-forward seven years and two kids, the Divers family is so very special to us. I was a little nervous since it was the first time I was going to photograph THREE kids at once. But it literally took just a few jumping jacks to get all the kids smiling and looking at the camera!

It was so awesome to spend an hour with this family and I am so grateful for the support they are to Mike, the kids and I.

[Donner] Maternity

I've known April for about 7 years and was so excited when she told me she was expecting! She and her husband have been together since she was in high school and they finally decided to start a little family! Their little girl Taylynn should be coming any day now!

It was so fun photographing her cute belly, as it was my first maternity shoot ever! So fun! Congratulations, April and Tony...can't wait to meet your little one!

 

I love these belly shots, especially the one on the left.  She is wrapped up in a 

blanket that her Grandmother made her who has since passed.  It's like a little piece of

 legacy, wrapped around that precious little girl!
